With innovative and intuitive remote control operation, the BTE Railbound Hydraulic Power Unit keeps workers safely out of the range of equipment booms while delivering the convenience of mobile hydraulic power and attachment interchangeability.

NIPPER MODULE

Four durable nipper jaws, operated by two cylinders, can reach into ballast and nip loose ties up to 20” below the rail head.

Corner rail clamps leave space for spiking ties
Lifting capacity of 9400 lbs (to hold tie to rail while spiking)
Hydraulic gauger for adjusting rail position

ANCHOR CRIBBER MODULE

Hydraulic rail clamps secure the attachment while cribber arms clear ballast under rails and on both sides of the tie.

Designed with four ultra-durable cribber arms
Tungsten carbide-tipped conical bits minimize wear
Cribbing force of 27,000 pounds behind each arm
