BTI specializes in tungsten carbide-protected wear parts for the railroad industry, exclusively. By utilizing ultra-durable tungsten carbide—a material that’s more than twice as hard as steel and more resistant to extreme abrasion by a factor of 25 to 1—we’re able to extend wear life by as much as 10x, increasing uptime and rocket-powering productivity.
BTE leverages this tungsten carbide wear-proofing on a variety of parts and attachments, from undercutter and mulcher chains to tampers and tie handlers.
